Subnormality- a "Comix with too many words since 2007". One of my favorite web comics, always insightful, thoughtful, and witty (these are a few of my favorite things). A web comic that makes you think about who you are as a person without getting preachy or self righteous.

The Style Rookie- If you have not heard of Tavi Gevinson you probably are not that interested in fashion, but if you are and you are still uninformed than you might want to check out her amazing blog. A freshman in high school she is already amassing a portfolio and cred (and more than a little umbrage) that would make you average grad student sick with rage. She has a beautiful eye and a quirky style all tied together through well worded writing.

Red Band Trailer- Cool celebrities, witty repartee, and an airstream trailer, could it get any better? Diablo Cody, of Juno and Jenifer's Body fame, interviews celebrities (the smart ones) in a pimped out aluminum twinkie, pretty much the perfect way to spend about a dozen minutes.
I am also an avid NPR fanboy and love to start my day without the news and a cup of coffee. My station of choice Northstate Public Radio.
In the more conventional sense I am a fourth year student, this is my second year at Davis. I am a transfer student from Shasta College in Redding California. I am an Design major with my emphasis in Interiors. I am completing the lighting track this quarter and hope to complete furniture before I leave in the spring.
I love to travel, I am bilingual (Swedish and English) and have done some study abroad (not through UCD). I am a makeup artist and currently work freelance for Chanel
This is just a little look into who I am, so you can understand me a little bit better. I hope that though reading all of your blogs that I can see a little more about who you are as people, students, and designers. Good luck and if you have any questions please comment below or feel free to e-mail me through smartsite.
